We cordially invite you to join us at the 21st European Congress on Surgical Infections which will be held in Belek/Antalya, Turkey on May 01–03, 2008.
The Congress is intended to cover not only the recent aspects of widely discussed issues such as “multi-drug resistant organisms (MDRO) as surgical infection pathogens” and “antimicrobial prophylaxis for clean surgery” but also various new frontiers such as “opportunities for improving the quality of prevention of surgical site infections”, “impact of surgical techniques on surgical infections” and “new generation biomaterials”.
Besides oral and poster presentations of innovative research there will be a wide array of topics. Subjects on basic and clinical sciences will be covered by satellite symposia and with a pro-con debate. We anticipate participation of physicians representing a diverse spectrum.
We have no doubt that the SIS-E tradition of promoting generous and fruitful discussions will result in a meeting of highest caliber and scientific quality.
The participants and accompanying persons will also have an opportunity to enjoy a rich social program, to explore the region’s ancient history and to experience the world-famous Mediterranean coast.
We look forward to welcome you in Antalya.
